Our dogs receive a complete panel of breed-recommended genetic tests. We understand the importance of preventing known genetic diseases in the Labrador Retriever breed. These diseases can be 100% prevented through responsible breeding. The fact is we test our dogs prior to breeding, which enables us to guarantee all English Shire Labrador puppies will be genetically unaffected of Exercise induced collapse (EIC),  Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM),  Day Blindness, Macular Corneal Dystrophy (MCD), Progressive retinal atrophy-progressive rod-cone degeneration (PRA-pcrd), Retinal dyplasia/Oculoskeletal dysplasia 1 (RD/OSD), Hereditary Catarcts,Glaucoma, Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID), Shaking Puppy Syndrome, Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK), Hyperuricosuria, Narcolepsy, Pyruvate kinase deficiency (PKD), Cystinuria, HUU, Centronuclear Myopathy, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Skeletal dysplasia 2 (SD2), Elliptocytosis, Myotubular myopathy 1 (MTM1), and Progressive retinal atrophy- cone-rod dystrophy 4 (PRA-crd4), Alexander Disease,  Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome  ,We also guarantee they will be clear of the dilute gene (D Locus).

This guarantee also applies to puppies sired by our Labrador Retriever Stud Dogs!  Our Stud dogs are certified clear (absent from the body) any trace or gene associated with the listed diseases.
